Boston Food Truck Festival

So, let me just say that this event was probably my favorite out of all of them that I did this Fall. Seeing the sheer amount of people that came out just to eat food was exciting. There were plenty of vendors and a bunch of opportunities to get good shots. The event was held on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Along with the food trucks they had live music and performances. There also vendors there selling merchandise. I believe every other day of the week they have shops set up through out the greenway to support local businesses.

My favorite thing about the festival had to be the variety of all the food. They had food from some local restaurants, so it made it easy to narrow down the choices but there still had to be at least 30 trucks there. All different types of cuisine, and deserts, there was plenty of options for you munch on. There was no way that you could walk through without finding something delicious. Then once you found what you wanted, there was plenty of space to sit back and enjoy. Groups of friends and family sat down along the grass or benches throughout the areas talking about their favorites.

Now for me I showed up a little late to the event which is my only regret because the lines for food were so long. I wanted to try so much. I ended up getting a burrito from Maria’s Taqueria, an ice cream cookie sandwich from the Cookie Monstah truck, some bubble tea, and a lamb wrap from Mediterranean Home Cooking truck. Now I apologize now because I did not take any picture of the actual food. I did not realize how difficult it would be to take a picture of a messy burrito or ice cream sandwich with a dslr. So, I guess I wish I had more hands.

I definitely hope they have it around next year. Being from Boston, I have had most of the food from plenty of the food trucks that were there, but I always love trying new food.
